FAQs
How long does it take to produce a film?
Depending on the playtime of your film will be it takes from 1 month to 8 months after finishing the shooting to produce a final result. For example a film - trailer might take three days to shoot and 5 days to edit whether a Feature Documentary might take 15 days to shoot and 3 months to edit.
How much time do I need on my side to contribute?
It’s depending on your engagement how much you want do be integrated in the process. In the beginning we will brainstorm on the concept and your motivation of creating a film in a video-call. As it’s likely that you will have to do something with the shooting location and protagonists in the film, we will plan the shooting in one or two sessions. During the recording days it’s likely that you will be needed on set if not managed differently beforehand. During the editing process there will be two to three revisions where you have to watch the film and can request changes.
What is included in the price?
The price includes preproduction, the shooting days including equipment and postproduction as well as music, soundesign and color-grading. As travel costs and accommodation will be varying on each production, they will be charged extra during the process or provided by you as the host. The distribution of the film is not included in the price.
Can I pay by instalments?
Yes, we love to work with instalments. The first third of the budget will be used as a confirmation of the production and has to be paid to start the project together. The second payment is due before the shooting days begin. After the film is finished and the project ends we ask you to pay the rest of the money.
Do you also do the distribution to streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon?
At the moment we don’t have a service to provide the distribution yet. We have partner companies that provide services like distribution or ads to promote the film. We do offer consultancy for the next steps after the film is ready to be shown to the world.
Where can I see the final films?
As some of the feature documentaries are screened on streaming platforms or festivals they might not be publicly accessible to watch. If you apply as a costumer you can send a privat request to watch some unreleased films. Check here for more information.
